Hello

I've decided I need an outlet. A way to sort of get out things I want to say without people I know seeing them or judging them. I have a tumblr, I've had a xanga, and now I'm on to here. I'm on the cusp of teenagerdom and the daunting task of adulthood, and my mind is stuck in that mess of juvenile fun and the seriousness of the future. All of which is a big confusing, exciting, wonderful, painful, heart breaking jumble of daily events and revelations that I feel the need to throw into cyber space. Maybe no one will read this or care, but this is for me and I'm just saying hello.

My name is Rae. I want to be a writer. An author of young adult books. I've wanted this since before it was a popular concept, and I can assure you (with the utmost humility, I promise) I have the talent. Sometimes I'll probably post things here for the wonderful bloggers of this community to see and tell me what I'm doing right or wrong.

I love to dance and sing. I'm not very good at either, but I enjoy them all the same.

I'm in college now. Will be a sophomore come labor day.

I probably won't always write this formally, I'm just in the mood to write like this.

Anything else you could possibly want to know will probably be posted in the future, I just figured the basics should be put up first.
